A week after we went to Bear Lake we went on another camping trip, this time with my dad's family. It was a short overnighter at the Heber Valley Girls Camp. We had a good time though. We got there in the afternoon and had dinner and played games. Most of us played some rounds of volleyball. Colson loved trying to wander and explore everywhere. We got to enjoy sitting out around a campfire since it wasn't raining. The next morning we had a good breakfast. (Pancakes on a cast iron griddle are the best.) Then we all went for a hike. Ben, Hannah, Colson, and I were behind everyone and ended up just going on our own since we didn't know where to go. We had fun just exploring and going around the trail. Colson even walked some of it himself. He didn't want to be in the hiking backpack the whole time. Then we had lunch and packed up and went home. So it was short but it was fun to spend time with everyone. It was fun to have the 3 great-grandkids together and get pictures of all of us. Our family is growing and changing but it is still a lot of fun to get together.
