Halloween Adventures

So while last year was technically Colson's first Halloween, this year was fun because he was old enough to start to really be a part of what was going on. We went to the pumpkin walk and it was tricky trying to keep Colson out of the displays. Ha! But we had fun looking at all the cool things people had put together. There were some really funny ones. Like "Duck Dynasty" or "The Lego Movie." Then there were some cute ones like "Arthur" or "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." The theme for the whole walk was classics. I always think it is so neat to see what people can do and how talented people are and that they are willing to share that with others. We actually got around to carving pumpkins this year too. We got together with Morgan and Chandi to work on one for family night and then did one with Colson another night too. Colson thought it was fun to help clean the pumpkin. He didn't mind the guts at all. He thought it was fun to throw them all over my floor. I didn't like that so much... We dressed Colson up as a dog for Halloween. I thought he was a cute little doggy. We went to our ward Trunk or Treat and then to a Harry Potter party with some friends after. We had a good time. Ben and I also went as dogs so all together we were Fluffy the three headed dog from the first Harry Potter. Colson definitely likes candy. I think chocolate is his favorite. This may turn into a problem ha ha. But all in all it turned out to be a good fun holiday for our family.

He didn't always like the hood on his head or holding still so it was hard to get a decent picture
