Spring/Summer Fun

Okay I know it's not really summer yet but once the weather is nice enough it is summer to me. Especially since I get to spend all my time outside playing with Colson. We have had a blast so far together this year. That's why I haven't been on here for a bit. We've just been having too much fun. We bought a membership to the zoo that is just around the corner from our house. We go there at least once a week. Colson loves the reindeer and peacocks. He recognizes their sounds even when we are just out on walks. One of these days I'll get a picture of him feeding the reindeer. I swear he isn't scared of anything. Especially anything outside. He just likes to jump right into nature. I'm happy about that though. In the middle of May, Colson and I spent a week down at my parents house. We took him to the Tracy Aviary in Salt Lake. He loves birds and thought it was pretty cool. We saw some really neat ones like the giant Chilean Condor. I personally loved the owls the best. Colson thought the ducks and pelicans were pretty cool. We also have already gone to the pool once as well as set up the pool Colson got for his birthday last year to play with. We're all geared up and ready to hit the rest of summer full swing. The month of July is jam packed with lots for us to do. So be prepared for picture overload sometime in August recapping that month. We are having a great time together so far. While Ben's schedule at work has been crazy, it sure has been fun to have him home to play with us more. Colson loves all the extra Daddy time he gets and I love it too. Here's hoping all of you are heading into a great summer as well with plenty of adventures ahead.
Here are just a few of the many pictures from the Tracy Aviary:

Then some cute pictures from hanging out with my family:
Colson loved playing with CJ

Allie has been making him a fan since before birth.

Having fun with Hannah
And last but not least, fun around Logan:
Building his first fort

This is how he dressed for the park: Hat, gloves, shorts, flip flops. Sounds good to me.

We couldn't go to the park right away so we made an indoor park. Notice that now the bear is dressed like him.

Playing in the pool with his buddy Eli

He found my swim cap and goggles. And then insisted on wearing them.

How adorable is this face?

Seriously can't get enough of him. Funny boy!
