Colson is Three!

Well I'm finally back to the blogging world. My computer was broken for a while but now it is back. So be prepared to hear from me more again. We've got lots to catch up on. But I'm going to start with the closest things and move back. First up is Colson's birthday! I can't believe it but my baby boy is now a big grown up three year old. And he really doesn't look or act much like a baby anymore at all. Ha ha. Good thing we've got another one coming just around the corner. But we sure love Colson. He makes life so much fun. We had a great birthday with him. Ben actually was able to have the day off of work so he got lots of good fun time with both Mommy and Daddy. He got to do a lot of his favorite thing. Play Mario Bros. or Lego Star Wars on the Wii. He loves it. And he keeps getting better at the games too. It is actually kind of fun to see how he figures things out and can learn to do things better the more he keeps playing and trying. I guess that happens with everything he does. One of my favorite things about being a mom is actually seeing Colson learn and grow. So for his birthday he got to play on the Wii, go on a special lunch date with Ben while I had to go to the doctor, and have a party with some of our friends out here. One of my favorite things to do for birthdays is make a fun birthday cake. This year Colson got a Mario cake. I worked really hard on it and am super happy with how it turned out. Colson thought it was pretty cool too. For the party we pulled out our kiddie pool and some water balloons in the backyard for all the kids to run around and play with. There aren't too many kids Colson's age out here but he has made a lot of friends of all ages. He loves his friends. He calls them his kids. He always asks when he can see or play with his kids or if any of his kids are coming over. So he was really happy to celebrate his birthday with his kids. It turned out to be a great day. I sure love my little boy. Colson is great. He is sure going to be a great big brother. Happy Birthday Colson! We love you! We're looking forward to another great year with you!
